La pobreza como eje de la ética en un mundo globalizado

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación realizado a través de una revisión bibliográfica hace una analogía descriptiva entre los diferentes conceptos de la pobreza y su clasificación de acuerdo a las escalas de valores y la interpretación que la sociedad y los sectores productivos le han dado. Iniciando desde Aristóteles, hasta llegar a Amartya Sen cuyo objetivo es analizar el sistema empresarial y la forma de compromiso de estas empresas con los sistemas sociales. Teniendo en cuenta nuestra postura frente a la aproximación que realiza CK Prahalad, en su libro La Nueva Oportunidad de los Negocios en la Base de la Pirámide. Donde describe la forma como las empresas podrían con sus productos o servicios llegar a las base de la pirámide (personas de escasos recursos económicos). interpretaremos de una forma general el concepto de ética donde afrontaremos una postura referente al compromiso social de las empresas, la tesis centrada en este trabajo de investigación hace una reflexión sobre la intención de algunas empresas al llegar a los sectores económicos menos favorecidos.
