Estimación de la tasa de favoritismo en la elección presidencial mediante el uso del estimador de Regresión Local Polinomial

Abstract

Se propone el uso y se evalúa el desempeno de varias estrategias muestrales en la estimación dela tasa de favoritismo de cierto candidato en las elecciones presidenciales de 2006, con estimadoresbasados en Regresión Local Polinomial en la primera etapa de selección. Se utilizan los resultados delcomicio 2002 como información auxiliar. Por métodos no analíticos se estima la esperanza y la varianza de cadaestimador para luego ser comparados.
