Los Microclusters Turísticos: ¿una herramienta para el desarrollo turistico en zonas rurales deprimidas

Abstract

Este trabajo explora las posibilidades que ofrecen las redes y el enfoque de los microclusterspara el desarrollo turístico en comunidades rurales desfavorecidas, mediante la revisión y reflexión de la bibliografía específica. Con ello se pretende contribuir al debate académico sobre la pertinencia de esta aproximación a la hora de fomentar el turismo. Los conceptos de red y clúster facilitan el análisis de las relaciones complejas entre empresas y con el resto de los actores de esas comunidades y, por tanto, permiten comprender las estructuras de gobernación de un destino. Los resultados sugieren que una promoción del turismo centrada en actuaciones encaminadas a mejorar y fortalecer esos vínculos,puede constituir una alternativa para mejorar la ventaja competitiva y ofrecer beneficios socioeconómicos reales a las comunidades rurales, al facilitar su participación y el control del proceso en términos aceptables para ellas.
