Mercosur y la visión estratégica regional brasilena, 2003-2010

Abstract

A través de una metodología cualitativa, este estudio busca demostrar la siguiente hipótesis: el Mercosur, y su relanzamiento bajo el gobierno de Lula da Silva (2003-2010), plasmó una visión estratégica que se venía consolidando antes de los dos mandatos de este presidente, y que buscaba que este proyecto integracionista multidimensional se volviese una herramienta crucial para el fortalecimiento de un bloque suramericano liderado por Brasil. Con esto se quería contribuir al desarrollo de la región, y al posicionamiento del Cono Sur como una voz decisiva en la política internacional.
