El sector de ganadería bovina en Colombia: aplicación de modelos de series de tiempo al inventario ganadero

Abstract

Este documento realiza una estimación del inventario ganadero bovino en Colombia, tendiente adar luces sobre la probabilidad de las políticas de desarrollo ganadero en el país, básicamente conmiras a aportar instrumentos metodológicos como modelos Arima y otros modelos de series detiempo en la estimación del inventario ganadero en Colombia. El análisis comienza con una revisiónde la importancia de la ganadería en la teoría del desarrollo económico, para luego continuarcon la estimación de métodos de estimación univariada sobre las probabilidades de alcanzar losinventarios de ganado bovino de acuerdo al plan de desarrollo ganadero hacia el 2019 en concordanciacon el desarrollo sectorial y nacional.
