¿Anti o decolonialismo en América Latina? Un debate actual

Abstract

Resumen: El presente texto tiene como objetivo analizar la discusión actual sobre la descolonización en términos políticos e ideológicos en América Latina. La metodología empleada está basada en una revisión de análisis documental. Las conclusiones principales de este artículo son que la diferencia entre el anticolonialismo y el decolonialismo se encuentra en sus puntos de partida teóricos e históricos, así como en el tipo de sujetos que postulan. El anticolonialismo plantea la autonomía y liberación ideológica de los pueblos indígenas y afrodescendientes, mientras el decolonialismo propone concebir la capacidad subjetiva de dichos pueblos desde una formulación universalista de su particularidad étnica y cultural.
