Cocinas invisibles: el trabajo de las “alimentadoras” en la caficultura de la zona central colombiana

Abstract

Resumen: El propósito de este artículo es presentar los resultados de una investigación realizada sobre la labor de las mujeres rurales “alimentadoras”, en fincas y haciendas cafeteras de la zona rural de tres municipios pertenecientes a la subregión centro sur de Caldas, entre los anos 2017 y 2018. El estudio se apoya en métodos mixtos de investigación particularmente en el Diseno Anidado Concurrente del Modelo Dominante (DIAC), cuya finalidad es comprender las situaciones de invisibilidad laboral que rodea la actividad de preparación y suministro de comidas para jornaleros cafeteros; como resultado, se revelaron condiciones laborales marcadas por la segregación, inequidad, y precariedad. Igualmente se demostró cómo su trabajo se configura en un asunto esencial para el mantenimiento de fuerza de trabajo, las relaciones sociales y la productividad de las empresas cafeteras.https://www.dotec-colombia.org/administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit#publishing
