Movilidad social intergeneracional de acuerdo al color de la piel en Colombia

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este artículo seestudia la movilidad ocupacional intergeneracional según el color de la piel en Colombia.Se utilizan datos de la encuesta PERLA realizada en 2010y conrepresentatividad en el ámbito nacional. Se aplicóel método de tablas de movilidad y la estimación de modelos log-lineales. Los resultados muestran que las oportunidades de movilidad social ascendenteestán restringidas por la clase social de origeny al mismo tiempo son menoresparalaspersonas con colores de piel más oscuros. Esta situación aumenta la desigualdad en las oportunidades ocupacionalessegún el color de la piely configura una pirámide social pigmentocrática en Colombia.
