Un breve acercamiento a las políticas de Acción Afirmativa: orígenes, aplicación y experiencia para grupos étnico-raciales en Colombia y Cali

Abstract

Este artículo intenta hacer una conceptualización sucinta de las políticas de acción afirmativa y un análisis de las experiencias internacionales más relevantes (Estados Unidos y Brasil) y su experiencia de aplicación para la población afrocolombiana en el país y Cali. Los resultados muestran que el caso colombiano se caracteriza por un sesgo étnico-territorial y cultural que establece profundas diferencias con las políticas aplicadas en los Estados Unidos desde la década de los sesenta en el siglo XX y más recientemente en el Brasil.
