Abstract
Resumen La inclusión de las mujeres en los órganos de dirección ha sido un tema que sigue presentando retos para las empresas, a pesar de que la actual normatividad fomenta su inclusión. El objetivo de la investigación presentada en este artículo fue identificar el grado de diversidad de género de los órganos de dirección, específicamente los Consejos de Administración (CA) y la Alta Dirección (AD) de las empresas del IPC 2018 de la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. Las variables analizadas fueron perfil de la directiva y diversidad de género (índices de Blau y de Teachman) en CA y AD. Con un análisis estadístico descriptivo y de contraste de medias, se logró identificar que existe diferencias significativas (p=0,05) para el índice de diversidad en ambos órganos de gobierno, en especial, entre sectores económicos de las empresas.******Abstract The inclusion of women in management bodies has been an issue that continues to present challenges for companies, despite the fact that current regulations encourage their inclusion. The objective of the research presented in this article was to identify the degree of gender diversity in management bodies, specifically the Boards of Directors (BoD) and Senior Management (SM) of the companies in the CPI 2018 of the Mexican Stock Exchange. The variables analyzed were management profile and gender diversity (Blau and Teachman indices) in BoD and SM. With a descriptive statistical analysis and contrast of means it was possible to identify that there are significant differences (p=0.05) for the diversity index in both governing bodies, especially between economic sectors of the companies.
