Crecimiento Económico del Valle del Cauca en el Periodo 1960-2010: un Análisis Bajo el Modelo Harrod-Domar

Abstract

Resumen En el presente artículo se estudia el crecimiento económico del Valle del Cauca en el periodo 1960- 2010. Se consolida una base de datos agregados temporalmente unificados. Tanto el análisis de la información bajo el contexto estadístico como su contraste a la luz del modelo Harrod-Domar sugieren que el factor fundamental para explicar el crecimiento del producto departamental durante el periodo de estudio, es la productividad del capital, no obstante que su comportamiento en el tiempo ha sido relativamente constante.
