Análisis y Fortalecimiento de la Cultura Organizacional en una Institución de Educación Superior de la Ciudad de Cali

Abstract

La cultura organizacional hace referencia a aquellos aspectos que caracterizan a una empresa y representa una ventaja competitiva frente al entorno, por lo cual es un factor importante de desarrollo. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo identificar los rasgos culturales en una institución de educación superior, por medio del modelo de Cameron y Quinn (1999), denominado Competing Values Framework y el Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument, evaluando cuatro tipos de cultura (Clan, Adhocracia, Mercado y Jerárquica), con base en seis dimensiones: características dominantes, liderazgo, gestión de empleados, unión de la organización, énfasis estratégico y criterios de éxito. Los resultados permiten proponer estrategias de intervención para fortalecer la cultura, generar impacto en la apropiación de la filosofía organizacional y mayor competitividad.
