Aproximación al análisis de disparidades regionales en términos del desempleo: una revisión de literatura

Abstract

El presente documento tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión de literatura que permita acercar al lector a identificar la naturaleza de las disparidades regionales en términos del desempleo para un significativo número de países. Esta revisión es realizada sobre la base de cinco categorías de análisis: i) Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED); ii) estructuras salariales; iii) conformación de clústeres en torno al fenómeno del desempleo; iv) análisis de estructura económica desde la perspectiva de convergencia y divergencia; y, v) series de tiempo y análisis de cointegración. Finalmente, algunas conclusiones se establecen en base a la evidencia empírica encontrada por los diferentes autores de los estudios revisados. ******* This document aims at making a review of literature that allows the reader to identify the nature of regional disparities in terms of unemployment for a significant number of countries. this review is conducted based on five categories of analysis: i) Foreign Direct Investment- FDI, ii) Salary structures, iii) Establishment of clusters around the unemployment phenomenon, iv) Analysis of economic structure from the perspective of convergence and divergence, v) Time series and co-integration analysis. Finally, some conclusions are set based on empirical evidence found by the different authors of the studies reviewed.
