Abstract

En este artículo se muestra la importancia del capital axiológico (valores éticos) para promover la sostenibilidadde la permanencia de las empresas en un mercado. Con base en una investigación desarrollada durante dos anos de consulta de modelos teóricos y trabajo de campo, el artículo expone cuatro estudios de caso de pequenas y medianas empresas (PYME) del sector alimentario de Santiago de Cali, en las cuales los criterios éticos constituyen un elemento importante para la sostenibilidad de las empresas.
