Análisis de la regulación del transporte aéreo público regular interno en colombia

Abstract

La aviación civil ha sido uno de los sectores en donde el Estado ha ejercido mayor regulación, considerando que se trata de una industria altamente intensiva en capital y con unos exigentes estándares técnicos, pues presta un servicio en el cual la seguridad de sus usuarios (los pasajeros) es inaplazable. Es así como se ha observado que, por lo general, la regulación del sector es un proceso de características similares alrededor del mundo, y hace referencia a los precios, a la correción de externalidades e, igualmente, a las entradas y salidas del mercado. Por ello, la intervención del aparato estatal de manera eficiente puede brindar un desarrollo importante en los mercados del sector aeronáutico y un crecimiento de la infraestructura necesaria para su óptimo funcionamiento.
