Ruido por Tráfico Urbano: Conceptos, Medidas Descriptivas y Valoración Económica

Abstract

El presente trabajo, hace un recorrido por la literatura económica del medio ambiente sobre el ruido por el tráfico urbano. Estudia los diferentes conceptos que se asocian al tema del ruido, describe los principales enfoques, así como diferentes medidas utilizadas para medir el ruido por tráfico urbano. Brevemente realiza una descripción sobre los métodos de valoración económica aplicados al tema. Presenta el método de precios hedónicos y el de valoración contingente (modelo tipo referendum). Por último revisa brevemente estudios que se han aplicado en diferentes países sobre la valoración económica del ruido por tráfico urbano.
