Un acercamiento a la historiografía del petróleo de Venezuela, México y Colombia

Abstract

El presente texto hace parte de una revisión exploratoria de algunos trabajos históricos realizados en Venezuela, México y Colombia sobre los procesos en torno del sector petrolero, en el marco del proyecto investigativo “políticas petroleras en Colombia”. El propósito de este ensayo es establecer un acercamiento historiográfico de algunas obras realizadas en la región sobre la temática, para comprender la dinámica regional en torno de este recurso energético. Además de postular las etapas por las que ha atravesado la exploración, explotación de los hidrocarburos en la región, ligados fuertemente al potencial de las reservas y a los aportes que las empresas realizan a la nación.
