La comunidad andina: una opción comercial para el departamento del Meta

Abstract

El artículo presenta una propuesta exportadora del departamento del Meta a la Comunidad Andina, dadas las ventajas que ofrecen los países que conforman el bloque de integración subregional. El departamento posee riquezas naturales que lo pueden habilitar como exportador de bienes y servicios; sin embargo,su participación en el comercio intrarregional es muy precaria. La metodología utilizada es el método de los escenarios, a partir de la participación de líderes que influyen en la dinámica del desarrollo económico y social del departamento, para identificar el mejor escenario posible y alcanzar la óptima convergencia de acciones dirigidas a facilitar la penetración del Meta en el comercio andino. Se concluye, además, que en la actual vicisitud de la CAN el departamento puede crear condiciones y abrirse a otras economías.
