La crisis financiera:génesis y repercusiones

Abstract

En el artículo se hace una síntesis de las posibles causas que originaron la crisis destacando los aspectos más relevantes en cada una de ellas. Además enfatiza en la política económica implementada que permitió que la crisis no se transformara en una depresión. Se enfatiza en que tanto la política monetaria como la política fiscal fueron contracíclicas y se convirtieron en los instrumentos esenciales para atenuar la crisis. De igual manera se hace un parangón entre el libre mercado y la intervención, contraste que permite concluir que en buena parte la crisis es fruto del libre mercado, pero, también, cómo la intervención del Estado fue determinante para contrarrestarla.
