¿Hay alternativas al capitalismo? La renta básica de los iguales

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este artículo hace las veces de una propuesta alternativa a la sociedad económica y política a que ha dado lugar el capitalismo en la Era moderna. Se sustenta en la posibilidad real, que hoy existe, de pensar y hacer una comunidad solidaria y autónoma que sustituya a la actual, en donde la participación ciudadana directa sea el común denominador de los asuntos públicos. La Renta Básica de los Iguales es planteada, desde esta opción política, como una categoría económica sustentable para alcanzar una equidistribución de la riqueza y los ingresos de la sociedad.
