It explains the relationship between economic theory and power. This relationship is key to understand globalization which is supported by economic Neoliberalism. Globalization is a global political project to profit large transnational companies and international capital flows. At the end, the article exposes globalization consequences in Latin America and Colombia as to poverty, misery, unemployment and popular affliction. For this reason it is necessary to change the model without setting aside market economy.
