Abstract

Se analizan elementos característicos de los antioquenos dentro de la denominadacolonización antioquena", utilizando para ello el método histórico,colocando esas características en interacción con ciertos elementos contemporáneosde la competitividad y efectuando planteamientos críticos en cuantoa su originalidad y diferencia como grupo cultural en Colombia. Se hacereferencia a los distintos indicadores contemporáneos de la competitividad yla forma en que el emprendimiento es considerado. Finalmente, se adviertela ausencia de ciertos elementos en el desempeno de los emprendedores regionalespara afrontar los retos económicos actuales, por lo que se sugiere surescate, destacando en este proceso el papel de la educación y la interacciónde los actores involucrados en el tema de la competitividad."
