Abstract

El sector financiero colombiano registró una rápida tasa de crecimiento durante el período 1970-1978. De acuerdo con las cifras de las cuentas nacionales, el área de las finanzas creció a un ritmo que dobló el resto de la economía.El propósito del presente documento es el de analizar algunas facetas de este fenómeno en la economía colombiana, las cuales han adquirido importancia en los anos recientes y, en algunos casos, aún persisten.
