Efectos de los cambios monetarios sobre los precios: un comentario

Abstract

En un interesante artículo, la economista Ramírez aplica métodos de autorregresión vectorial y de cointegración para medir la respuesta dinámica de los precios agrícolas e industriales ante impactos monetarios. Utiliza los logaritmos de M1, del índice de precios al por mayor de productos agrícolas, PA y del de productos industriales PI, con datos mensuales que cubren un decenio, procede a estimar funciones de respuesta de las tres variables ante un impulso aplicado a cada una de ellas por separado.
