La Eurozona: una crisis de centro-periferia

Abstract

Tras casi diez anos de la última crisis financiera global, Europa continúa sin dar muestras de recuperación. Por el contrario, algunos países enfrentan crisis de deuda soberana y una convulsión política que amenaza la estabilidad de la comunidad europea. Sin embargo, la crisis europea actual no es meramente una crisis financiera y de deuda soberana, y no todos los países de la comunidad han sido igualmente afectados. Crisis in the European Monetary Union: A core-periphery perspective ofrece un marco analítico sustentado en amplia evidencia empírica que permite entender la dimensión de la crisis europea actual desde la historia, la geografía, la globalización y el mismo proceso de europeización.
