La política cafetera en la postguerra

Abstract

Terminada la segunda Guerra Mundial, la economia cafetera entró en un período de recuperación de precios e ingresos que culminó en el ano 1954, para transitar luego hacia una superproducción que dio origen al primerpacto Internacional del Café, apoyado por productores y consumidores.Estas dos instancias de la economía cafetera colombiana estuvieron enmarcadas a su vez, por dos fenómenos políticos de grandes repercusiones en la vida económica y social del pais. El período de recuperación de losprecios coincidió con el auge de la "Violencia", y la superproducción mundial con el nacimiento del pacto bipartidista conocido como el Frente Nacional. Cada uno de esos dos fenómenos dieron ciertas características almanejo de la política económica, y por ende a la política cafetera .
