Abstract

La Gran Crisis mundial del capitalismo de los anos treinta marcó, a nivel internacional, la instauración de un nuevo esquema de división internacional del trabajo y, a nivel de la economía colombiana, la consolidación de una nueva forma de desarrollo del proceso deacumulación de capítal.Aproximadamente a partir de la Primera Guerra Mundial comienza un proceso de gradual modificación del papel de la economía colombiana en el proceso de acumulación a nivel mundial. La función principal que hasta entonces había desempenado se definia por su carácter de economía exportadora de materias primas e importadora de manufacturasindustriales, dentro de un esquema de intercambio con metrópolis industrializadas.
