El sector agropecuario y el plan de desarrollo

Abstract

La enumeración de los campos en que se incorporan los diferentes aspectos de la política agropecuaria en el nuevo plan de desarrollo sirve para destacar dos elementos que dan estructura a esta presentación. Primero, en un programa de desarrollo con acento en el gasto social, como el presentado por la administración Samper, el sector agropecuario se ve muy beneficiado potencialmente a través de una diversidad de programas. Segundo, además de esos programas, el comportamiento del sector agropecuario se verá influido también por la política macroeconómica prevista en el Plan y por la factibilidad de su cumplimiento. La siguiente presentación se subdivide en dos secciones: una sobre la política sectorial y otra sobre las interrelaciones entre el sector agropecuario y la política macroeconómica.
