Reflexiones sobre la identidad nacional y el Estado en América Latina

Abstract

En este artículo se describe e interpreta el choque violento a que fueron sometidas las comunidades nativas de América. Cómo se destruyeron sus formas de organización social y cómo se remplazaron por Estados que se encargaron de redistríbuir los recursos naturales del continente. En este contexto, se pretende encontrar la identidad de un continente que reniega su pasado indígena y de los conocimientos que permitieron que esas comunidades convivieran en un equilibrio permanente con el medio ambiente.
