Abstract

Tres problemas se analizan en esta ponencia de manera crítica:1. La excesiva división del trabajo en la reflexión teórica y aplicada de los economistas genera efectos negativos que impiden un verdadero conocimiento y la mejora de las economías modernas.2. Por ausencia de avances teóricos y empíricos de la discusión para escoger los modelos de desarrollo es conducida más por intereses creados o prejuicios ideológicos que por una elección con criterios justos.3. Puede predecirse que va existir un gran problema de sociedad en América Latina ante la dificultad estructural para la creación futura de empleos.
