Dolarización en América Latina: Una mirada no convencional

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una reflexión crítica sobre el proceso de dolarización en los países en desarrollo. Se sostiene que los axiomas en que se basa esta política carecen de sólidos fundamentos teóricos y empíricos. Por el contrario, se requiere introducir regulaciones que limiten las acciones de los operadores de los mercados financieros, con el propósito de reducir el riesgo que convierte a las empresas en una burbuja en medio de un vórtice especulativo.
