Cuantificación de la reputación ambiental: una revisión de la literatura

Abstract

En este trabajo se hace una revisión de las dos principales ramas de la literatura empírica sobrecuantificación del impacto de la responsabilidad ambiental corporativa. La primera incluye estudiode eventos ambientales", en los cuales se cuantifican los retornos "anormales" atribuibles a noticiasde cómo las empresas cuidan el medio ambiente. Los resultados difieren si se trata de países endesarrollo o desarrollados, si las noticias son positivas o negativas, según el sector al cualpertenezca la empresa, etcétera. La segunda, denominada literatura de la "q de Tobin", mide elvalor de la reputación ambiental como un activo intangible de las empresas."
