Crecimiento inclusivo: una estrategia integral para la obtención de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible

Abstract

El artículo presenta una estrategia de crecimiento que, por medio de la modificación de la distribución del ingreso en favor de los asalariados, permita impulsar la demanda agregada, la productividad y el empleo. La propuesta es fundamental para lograr los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), especialmente los relacionados con crecimiento, innovación, empleo y distribución, en Colombia; en contraposición con el modelo aplicado históricamente, el cual ha implicado un crecimiento económico excluyente. Para construir esta visión alternativa, se presenta una propuesta teórica novedosa, a partir del concepto de crecimiento inclusivo. Mediante un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM), se valida la hipótesis de que la concentración de la estructura productiva genera distorsiones en el impulso del crecimiento, la innovación y la creación de empleo. Ello hace necesario adoptar políticas enfocadas a aumentar la productividad y la diversificación del aparato productivo.
