Efecto de la igualdad sobre el crecimiento económico

Abstract

Estudia las relaciones de largo plazo entre la distribución del ingreso, la composición de la demanda, la industrialización y el crecimiento para esto se fusiona el modelo de Murphy, Shleifer y Vshny (1989), en donde la distribución del ingreso determina el grado de industrialización, con un modelo de crecimiento endógeno en donde el crecimiento está determinado por el proceso de aprendizaje (learning by doing) en las empresas industrializadas. Se demuestra que cada empresa sólo se industrializa cuando la demanda es suficientemente elevada.
