La crisis económica de México: una interpretación

Abstract

Se discuten los cambios del entorno internacional, las variaciones internas propias de la economía mexicana y las políticas macroeconómicas que condujeron a la crisis. Aunque ésta estuvo muy centrada en las actividades financieras, es indudable que pone en evidencia ciertos problemas estructurales como la suficiente generación de ahorro interno. Así mismo, se presentan los posibles activos" y fortaleza que tiene el país azteca para mejorar en el mediano y largo plazo su economía. Por último, se exponen algunos argumentos que defienden la idea de que la crisis mexicana no es generalizable a algunos países de América Latina como Argentina."
