Implicaciones de un modelo dinámico de comercio neoclásico

Abstract

Análisis de los efectos del comercio en una economía dinámica. El análisis está llevado a cabo en términos de un modelo en el cual tanto el comercio como el crecimiento (acumulación de capital) son explicados por razones neoclásicas. Bajo el supuesto de que la economía es pequena, se obtiene el resultado de que ella enfrenta un trade-off entre comercio y crecimiento, ya que uno substituye perfectamente al otro. En consecuencia, la superioridad del comercio sobre la autarquía no se puede generalizar en franco contraste con el caso estático.
