Valoración económica de una mejora en seguridad y conservación Parque Chingaza

    Mediante la utilización del análisis Conjoint en el artículo se presenta una alternativa para la estimación ex-ante de los beneficios sociales reportados por varias políticas públicas que pueden ser desarrolladas de manera individual o conjunta. Usando una aplicación empírica del análisis Conjoint para evaluar dos políticas, una de seguridad y una de conservación del Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza, se esquematiza cómo revelar las preferencias de los individuos por diversos escenarios de aplicación de dichas políticas publicas, permitiendo encontrar medidas de bienestar económico por cada una de las políticas cuando éstas se aplican de manera individual o por un grupo de ellas desarrolladas conjuntamente. Se encontró que los beneficios percibidos por la aplicación conjunta de las políticas son mayores que la suma de los beneficios de la aplicación individual de cada una de ellas. Adicionalmente, la política de conservación aplicada de manera individual no resulta costo eficiente, mientras que la de seguridad sí.
