Estudio sobre violencia doméstica en el DF: Resultados preliminares

Abstract

Encuesta transversal en una muestra de 400 parejas. Objetivo: Identificar actitudes y comportamientos que perciben como violentos de su pareja y de sí mismos, como también la frecuencia y modalidades con las que se presentan. Los resultados principales en la frecuencia global de violencia recibida por varones es de 13.9% y las mujeres 16.6% mientras que la frecuencia de violencia ejercida por los hombres es 12.7% y las mujeres 12.9%. En cuanto a la percepción, si las mujeres ejercieran violencia doméstica a los varones, ellas consideran sus actos más violentos (49.0%) de lo que piensan los varones si fueran ellos los que violentaran (41.2%). Si las mujeres recibieran violencia doméstica de los varones, ellas considerarían estos actos más violentos (51.3%) de lo que piensan los varones si fueran ellos los violentados por sus parejas (40.7%).
