Russie : sanctions occidentales et échappatoires orientales

Abstract

Frappée par des sanctions à la fois commerciales et financières à la suite de son invasion de l’Ukraine, la Russie a fait preuve d’une relative résistance. Ses échanges ont certes diminué courant 2022, mais, en fin d’année, grâce à l’Inde et à la Chine, les exportations restaient au-dessus de ce qu’elles étaient en moyenne entre 2019 et 2021, tandis que du côté des importations c’est essentiellement la Chine qui a remplacé l’Europe comme fournisseur de la Russie. Pour autant, les exportations chinoises n’ont offert qu’une compensation limitée aux exportations européennes vers la Russie visées par les sanctions. C’est davantage en matière financière que la Chine a permis à la Russie de moins pâtir des sanctions, grâce au rôle grandissant du yuan.
