Apres la bulle et la crise : les banques japonaises et l'Asie de l'Est

Abstract

Cet article entend prouver que certains facteurs relatifs a l'economie regionale dominante (le Japon) ont joue, et continueront de jouer, un role essentiel dans le comportement des flux financiers du Japon vers les marches emergents de l'Asie de l'Est. Les prets des banques japonaises aux pays de cette region, en particulier, peuvent en grande partie s'expliquer par des evolutions financieres, institutionnelles et economiques survenues dans l'archipel apres la crise financiere et bancaire qui a suivi l'eclatement, fin 1989, de la bulle boursiere.
