Du Marche unique a la monnaie unique : l’impact sectoriel de l’euro

Abstract

Le marche unique et la monnaie unique constituent des elements complementaires d'une strategie qui doit permettre a l'Union europeenne de mieux faire face aux defis de la globalisation. En effet, l'arrivee de la monnaie unique devrait renforcer certains des effets induits par le programme de realisation du marche interieur et permettre ainsi la creation d'un veritable marche europeen. En particulier, l'introduction de l'euro devrait modifier l'intensite et la nature de la concurrence sur les marches des produits europeens, grace notamment a la plus grande transparence des prix.
