Start-ups zwischen Unsicherheit und Aufbruch: Geschäftsklima trübt sich ein, Optimismus bleibt

Abstract

Das Geschäftsklima in der deutschen Start-up-Szene hat sich im Jahr 2025 spürbar eingetrübt und der Rückgang des Geschäftsklimasaldos auf 31,7 Punkte markiert das niedrigste Niveau seit 2020 – dennoch liegt der Wert deutlich über dem in der Gesamtwirtschaft (– 6,4). Das zeigen die Ergebnisse des Deutschen Startup Monitors 2025, die mit den Daten der ifo Konjunkturumfragen verglichen werden. Trotz schwächerer Nachfrage, verhaltenen Investitionen und anhaltendem Druck auf B2C-Geschäftsmodelle beweisen viele Start-ups Anpassungsfähigkeit und Innovationskraft. Die Finanzierungslage kann insgesamt als stabil beschrieben werden, wenngleich die Lücke beim Wagniskapital weiterhin strukturelles Hemmnis bleibt. Zugleich verändert der verstärkte Einsatz Künstlicher Intelligenz die Dynamik: Er steigert Effizienz sowie Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und reduziert damit auch den Personalbedarf. Der Fachkräftemangel verliert dadurch an Schärfe, bleibt angesichts des demografischen Wandels jedoch wichtiges Thema für die Start-up-Szene.
