Strukturwandel in der Automobilindustrie: Eine Analyse von Online-Stellenanzeigen und Patentdaten

Abstract

Die Zahl offener Stellen in der deutschen Automobilindustrie ist seit dem Hoch im August 2023 um ca. zwei Drittel zurückgegangen und befindet sich im Juni 2025 wieder etwa auf dem Niveau des Corona-Tiefstandes. Gleichzeitig hat sich der Strukturwandel deutlich verlangsamt: Hatten auf Elektromobilität spezialisierte Firmen im Dezember 2023 noch doppelt so viele Stellen offen wie Firmen mit Verbrennertechnologie-Fokus, sind es im Juni 2025 nur noch rund ein Fünftel mehr Stellen, ein Rückgang um 81 %. Bemerkenswert ist die seit Jahren anhaltend niedrige Zahl offener Stellen bei den Automobilzulieferern.
