Künstliche Intelligenz in ost- und westdeutschen Unternehmen: Nutzung steigt, Abstand bleibt

Abstract

Die Nutzung Künstlicher Intelligenz in deutschen Unternehmen ist zwischen 2023 und 2026 stark gestiegen. Auf Basis der ifo Konjunkturumfrage zeigt sich, dass ostdeutsche Unternehmen Künstliche Intelligenz deutlich häufiger nutzen als früher, aber diesbezüglich weiterhin hinter westdeutschen zurückliegen. Der Rückstand besteht in allen Wirtschaftsbereichen und ist im Bauhauptgewerbe sowie im Einzelhandel besonders ausgeprägt. Gleichzeitig ist die Nutzung Künstlicher Intelligenz in Ostdeutschland noch häufiger „kein Thema" als in Westdeutschland. Regional ist die Nutzung von Künstlicher Intelligenz vor allem in den Stadtstaaten und im Südwesten Deutschlands am stärksten fortgeschritten.
