Ostdeutsche Unternehmen vergeben schlechtere Noten für die Arbeit der Bundesregierung

Abstract

Eine aktuelle Befragung deutscher Unternehmen, durchgeführt im Rahmen der ifo Konjunkturumfrage im Januar 2026, offenbart eine überwiegend kritische Einschätzung der Wirtschaftspolitik der Bundesregierung. Die Gesamtnote liegt bei 4,16 („ausreichend“ bis „mangelhaft“), wobei sich die Bewertungen zwischen Ost- und Westdeutschland unterscheiden. Unternehmen in Westdeutschland bewerten die wirtschaftspolitische Arbeit der Regierung mit einer durchschnittlichen Note von 4,14, während ostdeutsche Unternehmen eine Note von 4,27 vergeben. Dieser Unterschied erscheint auf den ersten Blick nicht groß, erweist sich jedoch als statistisch signifikant. Die Note 6 vergaben 8% der befragten Unternehmen im Westen, aber 13% im Osten. Auf Ebene der einzelnen Wirtschaftsbereiche vergaben die Baufirmen und der Einzelhandel im Osten insgesamt deutlich schlechtere Zensuren als ihre westdeutschen Pendants. Kaum Unterschiede gab es hingegen beim Großhandel, der Industrie und den Dienstleistern.
