Struktur, Verteilung und Tendenzen partnerschaftlicher Gewalt in Sachsen

Abstract

Die Zahl polizeilich registrierter Fälle partnerschaftlicher Gewalt ist in Sachsen in den letzten Jahren deutlich gestiegen. Im Jahr 2024 wurden 5 578 Fälle gegen Frauen erfasst, davon zwei Drittel Körperverletzungsdelikte. Unklar ist, ob dieser Anstieg auf eine tatsächliche Zunahme von Gewalt oder eine gestiegene Anzeigebereitschaft durch veränderte gesellschaftliche Aufmerksamkeit zurückzuführen ist. Verschärfte ökonomische Rahmenbedingungen, etwa durch Arbeitslosigkeit oder beengte Wohnverhältnisse, könnten ebenfalls eine Rolle spielen. Da viele Gewalttaten im privaten Raum stattfinden und nicht zur Anzeige gebracht werden, bleibt ein erheblicher Teil im Dunkelfeld. Der Beitrag untersucht auf Grundlage polizeilicher Statistiken und Dunkelfeldbefragungen die Struktur und Entwicklung partnerschaftlicher Gewalt in Sachsen.
