Ein Blick mit Open Data auf kleinräumige Wahldaten in Dresden. Weltstatistiktag 2025 – Daten für alle

Abstract

Open-Data-Portale ermöglichen zunehmend qualitativ hochwertige, kleinräumige Analysen auf frei zugänglichen Datengrundlagen. Am Beispiel der Bundestagswahl 2025 und mithilfe des Open-Data-Portals der Landeshauptstadt Dresden werden die Urnen- und Briefwahlbeteiligung in den Dresdner Stadtteilen sowie deren Korrelationen mit ausgewählten Strukturmerkmalen untersucht und in die wissenschaftliche Literatur eingeordnet. Das Beispiel zeigt, dass eine offene Dateninfrastruktur die Grundlage schafft, um Transparenz, kommunale Planung und evidenzbasierte Forschung zu Wahlverhalten und -organisation wirksam zu stärken.
