Mit regionalen Potenzialen gegen den Fachkräftemangel?

Abstract

Der zunehmende Fachkräftemangel trifft ganz Deutschland, aber aufgrund regionaler Charakteristika bieten sich nicht allen Bundesländern die gleichen Lösungsstrategien an, um die Wirtschaftsleistung zu erhalten. Politik und Wirtschaft diskutieren, mit welchen Strategien sich Arbeitsplätze in Zukunft besetzen lassen. Im Zentrum steht die Frage, ob unbesetzte Stellen durch Zuwanderung aus dem In- und Ausland zu besetzen sind, oder ob regionale Potenziale ausgeschöpft und so das heimische Arbeitsangebot erhöht werden können. Im Folgenden wird diese Frage anhand des Beispiels Thüringen untersucht.
