ifo Konjunkturprognose für Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2016/2017: Ostdeutsche Wirtschaft bleibt in Schwung, aber internationale Unsicherheit dämpft die Dynamik

Abstract

Die ostdeutsche Wirtschaft befindet sich in einem moderaten Aufschwung. Preisbereinigt dürfte die Wirtschaftsleistung im Jahr 2016 um 1,6 % gestiegen sein und im Jahr 2017 nochmals um 1,3 % expandieren. Im Freistaat Sachsen dürfte das Wachstum mit 1,7 % im Jahr 2016 und 1,4 % im Jahr 2017 etwas kräftiger ausfallen. Positive Impulse kommen aus der Binnenwirtschaft. Insbesondere die anhaltend hohe Wohnungsbautätigkeit, die starke Konsumnachfrage der Verbraucher sowie die öffentlichen Dienstleister treiben das Ergebnis. Gedämpft wird die gesamtwirtschaftliche Dynamik von der in den letzten Monaten stark gestiegenen internationalen Unsicherheit.
