Deutsche Konjunkturperspektiven 2009/2010 : im Sog der Weltrezession

Abstract

Die deutsche Wirtschaft befindet sich im Frühjahr 2009 in der tiefsten Rezession seit der Gründung der Bundesrepublik. Als Folge der Zuspitzung der internationalen Finanzkrise im vergangenen Herbst hat sich der globale Abschwung dramatisch verschärft. Dadurch ist die weltweite Nachfrage nach Investitionsgütern eingebrochen, und dies hat insbesondere die Exportindustrie extrem hart getroffen. Alles in allem wird sich das Bruttoinlandsprodukt im Jahr 2009 um 6 % verringern. Dies dürfte trotz des verstärkten Einsatzes von Kurzarbeit auch zu einem sich beschleunigenden Abbau der Beschäftigung führen. Im Jahresverlauf 2009 ist mit einem Verlust von mehr als 1 Mill. Arbeitsplätzen zu rechnen. Spiegelbildlich wird die Arbeitslosigkeit hochschnellen und im Herbst die Marke von 4 Mill. überschreiten. Für 2010 erwarten die Institute keine durchgreifende Erholung. Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt dürfte um 0,5 % sinken. Zum Jahresende ist mit knapp unter 5 Mill. Arbeitslosen zu rechnen.
